After picking up yet another crumpled leaf and wiping nose prints off the glass door again, I decided to call an emergency family meeting. Yep, I spoke with Donkey, Blu and Bella about cleaning up after themselves and perhaps pitching-in with house cleaning.
Here were their responses:
What's a mother to do.
Any suggestions?

LOVE IT!!!
ReplyDeleteI feel your pain. I have to go around the neighborhood today and do a toy pickup run. Yesterday was a beautiful day in our little patch of country. So, I opened all of the doors and let my little monster run in and out and around all day. He proceeded to run around, come in, pick up a toy, run outside, get bored with said toy, come inside...Repeat ad nauseum. Now, they are everywhere!! He certainly does not bring them back. I talked to him about it yesterday, but he responded as Bella did- by falling asleep (due to his rough day of play and nap).
ReplyDeleteHey Mother...you have spoiled the group rotten....they should be helping....give it up and move on....Great photos..love and hugs grammaline.....
ReplyDeleteGina,
ReplyDeleteI am still chuckling over your post!I love how your "little monster" shared his toys with the vast, country neighborhood!I wonder how long it took you to collect them all. My one-eye beast scatters her toys all over the house with a few sprinkled in the yard. Today I stumbled upon her stuffed squirrel in a bush. I almost passed-out thinking it was a real squirrel, no longer amongst the living. I left that one in the yard. I was too traumatized to pick it up. Now I am the one who needs a nap!
Grammaline,
ReplyDeleteA spoiled, rotten group?
I don't know what you mean. ;-)
